Prairie Hotel | Hotel in Yelm, Washington

“Great place to stay. Stay very helpful and clean”

“We enjoyed the room so much. Food was at Doug’s across the street. No breakfast but coffee was available.”

“Helen was delightful in greeting us and accommodating all our requests. These rooms were absolutely fantastic! Will definitely stay again!”

“Considering it is the only decent hotel in the area, it's the only place I stay when visiting my son who has been stationed at JBLM for a few years. It's a comfortable hotel, good late check in if needed and comfortable. I recommend the hotel if you're in the Yelm area.”

“What an incredible find conveniently located off the main road in Yelm. Amber checked me in and she was very friendly and professional. Our room was quiet and quite spacious. Bed was comfortable but would have preferred bigger size pillows. Various eateries close by and they were quite good!”

“Big rooms, very spacious. Very far from things though”

“This was a great place to stay. Very clean with a good location. The front desk was very nice and extremely helpful. We had a room on the back side which had a vaulted ceiling and a nice high window. It is very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.”

“The room was clean and comfortable.”

“Nice big room and hotel, but they clearly are way behind on maintenance. The lights in the elevator didn’t work (they had a flashlight/lantern), the toilet had issues flushing, and the AC took a while to get working in the room.”

“Air conditioner worked great, the room had a ceiling fan which helped a bunch. The pillows are laughably small, if you normally sleep with a body pillow go ahead and ask for an extra pillow at check in. I had to ask for conditioner/body wash refills and they accommodated the request with no issue. I was shocked that they didn't also 'service' the room by at least taking out the trash (which was full). The hand soap dispenser was running low at the end and the toilet handle was coming out of the toilet. The bed did have dips in both sides and my back was a bit twingy every morning. The elevator was functional but the lights had gone out so they had flashlights and glow sticks the first evening and then some motion censor disk lights the second evening. It seems like this hotel is right on the verge of needing work all the way around. Parking was easy and plentiful. The area is quite walkable, we went to a movie ($5 on Wednesdays), and two different breakfast places. Overall, good stay.”
